hey guys i was just remembering the tradition of plus friends in our school....looking back it sounds hilarious....do you guys remember your so called plus friends....does it still exist in our school...i sure would like to know.. :) ....one incident that i remember is deepti vyas and parul nisha...everything is so clear its uncanny...ha ha ha...... and who else remembers these incidents do write it in the comments column for everyone to read....

Nainital - Arabindo Ashram tour
ok, so let me start with some memories. Does anyone remember the Nainital tour we used to have every year. That was the only tour I went to and in class VIII. And man, that was some life changing tour for me. Of course not something I realized at that time, but now when I look back and think, probably that is where I picked up my love for hiking. I do not really remember who was on that trip with me, Shweta Singh was there, and I think Surabhi, Nidhi? I still remember names of 2 people from the ashram, Bhuvna didi and Robin da, I have the autographs so I have refreshed my memory couple of times. Of course I donot remember any faces.
It was a trekking + rock climbing trip. We were suppose to get up really early in cold, go for PT and then run on the very hilly road. We usually trekked like 20 km, uphill. So in the morning whole body will be aching from that, and the cold!! At that time it was not fun. Now also when we go for a multi-day hike and next day my body is all aching from yesterday's climb, I remind myself, I got through those days, and I was much less fit at that time. During the treks we used were taught some silly song about cat, mouse something. I only remember the silliness :)
I was really scared of the rock climbing days. And on first day I hit my head on a rock, still have the scar. But from that time I absolutely love the mountains, maybe the rock just lodged itself on my head and keeps calling me. haa haa. It is really surprising how some things can affect your life. Or maybe I always liked hiking and it just happened to be my first trekking trip.
I think twice we were taken to the 'city' or 'market' and I bought lot of beautiful candles, they are all lost now :(. I also bought something made of the pine cones, that is still there, and in its original polythene.

Meeting with Ruchika @ my home
Hi Girls, Me and Ruchika met yesterday i.e. on Sunday. And it was great to see someone from school days visiting me at home in the morning time. Surely the day is going to be great, and it really was.
With her daughter Aru and husband Ashish, she gave me an almost unplanned visit. And I am happy she did. Aru is really sweet and cute. She got mixed up with me and my husband Prasanta. We enjoyed and for Aru we are "good aunty" and "good uncle". I prepared "vada" and Ruchika kept asking me if I am a south-Indian(coz i choose vada for the brkfast). She helped me all thru-out and we had vada and tea in the snacks or rather the brunch ;) Then we went out to an Indian restaurant and have a home-made food in a cozy environment. In the time we catched up with our past and talked about each other, our husbands too were never silent. And they were talking with each other as if its not we(me and Ruchika) who met after 10days, but them :) It was fun and to see two families mingling so easily was good too. Ruchika the day was great and i wish we will meet sooner and frequently. The photo is uploaded on flickr.

We are here! और हम आ गए।
ok, so I finally created this blog for all of us. For fun I created it in Hindi, and also enable hindi transliterator. अगर किसी को हिंदी में लिखने का मन करे तो ऊपर अ पर क्लिक करो, इंग्लिश में टाईप करो, और जादू से हिंदी में आ जाएगा ! ok, and I just discovered its kindda hard to write in Hindi, hence the blog to improve it for us pardesis :)
